Meet Javier Stephen Olivarez who lives in far Northwest San Antonio in District 8. Born and raised in San Antonio, he is now working as a Project Manager and earning his masters degree in Communications/Public Relations and Organizational Leadership. He says he is “proud of our diverse city and for how people are kind, welcoming, and unique.” He says he supporting Mayor Ron for re-election, because “I’ve seen many mayors in my time and I support Ron Nirenberg because of his leadership, passion, and dedication to our city…He’s accessible and will gladly meet with residents, even when we see things differently…That is the type of leadership we need and that is the type of leadership that sets San Antonio apart from the rest.
